I have had the privilege of working with some of the world’s finest musicians, including Jon Lucien, Tommy Flanagan, Grady Tate, Norman Hedman, Steve Torre, Ray Drummond, Cedar Walton, Will Lee, Kenny Drew Jr., Robin Eubanks, Duane Eubanks, Louis Hayes, Chico Freeman, Kenny Barron, Randy Brecker, Art Farmer, Mark Carey, Frank Foster, Alex Foster, Horace Tapscott, T.M. Stevens, Lou Soloff, Dr. Lonnie Smith, and Don Pullen, among many others.
Over the years, I have trained numerous interns who have gone on to pursue successful careers in audio engineering.
My experience also includes working extensively on the live music circuit with Jon Lucien. Notably, I served as the chief house engineer for the BUDWEISER BudFest Concerts during the 1982-1983 season, where I was responsible for shows featuring “Mtume” and his platinum hits “Juicy Fruit” and “You, Me and He” on Elektra Records. These concerts drew audiences of over 20,000 attendees each night.
Additionally, I have lectured to college students, participated in Jazz panels for ASCAP, and possess the unique ability to spin my fingers in two opposite circles simultaneously.
